I’m Susan Martorano
your Floral Consultant

My Background
I’ve had a lifelong passion for flowers and even when I was working in Corporate Education, I used to dream about creating a Floristry business in the Countryside with fragrant rambling roses framing the front door. Rose Cottage Floristry & Flower School is the realisation of that dream.

I’ve been able to use my teaching and coaching experience to encourage and support people of all ages to achieve their ambitions whether its learning the basic principles of flower arranging to create something beautiful in afternoon workshop or to change career as I did and start their own floristry business.

Being a qualified florist having trained in both the UK and USA means that I can help you learn how to use a single bloom for a buttonhole, create a stunning table centre, a 5ft pedestal or even, if you are really ambitious a large floral installation hanging from the ceiling of marquee

My Approach
People who attend my courses describe me as professional, friendly, relaxed, informative, encouraging, supportive and practical

I have a wealth of experience which I use to help you develop your own style whether that’s English Garden, Modern contemporary or Lifestyle Chic.

One to one courses are completely tailored to your needs so I can create a bespoke experience that is meaningful for you.

If you wish to start your own floristry business or breath new life into an existing enterprise, my consultancy approach, like everything else I do, offers expert advice tailored to your needs so you can create a profitable and enjoyable business.
